how does it work?

  • HOW DO I RESERVE A BIKE?

    In the Book The Bike section, select the dates you are interested in. Select the bike you like from the list of available bikes and also select the pickup location of your choice. You will be asked to login or sign up. Sign up is easy with few essential details like email address and phone number. After that, reconfirm your selected bike, dates and pickup location and you will be taken to the payment gateway. Your reservation is confirmed after you make the payment.

  • FROM WHERE DO I PICK UP THE BIKE?

    For Short Rides, you can find the nearest bike on the app, select the bike, confirm your booking and pick it up. 

    For Long Rides, you can pick up the bike on the day of your reservation from your selected location. The address will be mentioned in the confirmation email. Click here for the addresses of all the Bounce locations.

  • IS THERE A SPEED LIMIT?

    Yes. The speed limit for all scooters/ bikes upto 110 CC is 60 KMPH. Speed limit for bikes above 110 CC is 70 KMPH. Rs. 200 will be charged for every violation of the speed limit.

  • HOW DO I PAY IF I HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARD?

    International credit cards cannot be used to pay for your Bounce rentals through our existing payment gateways. While we are working to make this possible, please send an e-mail to reservations@metrobikes.in and we will be happy to assist you with a PayPal link. Surcharge applicable based on card currency.

  • WHEN DOES MY ORDER GET CONFIRMED?

    Your booking will be confirmed upon clicking Confirm Pickup for the selected bike on the app. You will receive an email Bounce confirming your booking, with the address and the Google link of the pick up location.

  • WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

    If you cancel the booking the refund would be made as per the following schedule:

    i. Less than one week – No refund
    ii. One week to two weeks – 50% refund.
    iii. More than two weeks – 95% refund.

    If we cancel the booking due to break-down, non-availability of the bike or any other internal reason, then we provide 100% refund of the rentals received.

  • IS THERE ANY LIMIT ON THE AGE OF THE RIDER?

    Yes, the rider has to be at least 18 years of age to ride the bikes.

  • IS FUEL INCLUDED IN THE TARIFF?


    Short Rides are inclusive of fuel.

    For Long Rides, price and policies vary for different locations. There are locations where we offer less than 24 hours rental with fuel.

  • IS THERE ANY LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF KILOMETERS THAT I CAN RIDE FOR A DAY?


    For Short Rides, you pay for the Time and the Distance that you use the bike for. The tariff is Rs. 3/KM and Rs. 0.25/Min. There is no limit on the number of Kilometres applicable. 

    For Hourly Rentals, at some locations the minimum distance limit is fixed at 12.5 Kms/Hour, and for some locations the policy varies.

  • IS THERE ANY DEPOSIT THAT I HAVE TO PAY?

    There is no requirement for cash deposit for Short Rides.

    For Long Rides, there is no deposit to be paid at most of our locations. However, there is a security deposit required for rentals availed from Jaisalmer.

  • DO YOU HAVE LATE RETURN PENALTIES?

    Penalty for delay in returning the bike: All bikes are due back at the time and day agreed as per the booking form. If the hirer returns the bike beyond the time specified in the booking form, he/she shall be charged three day's rental as penalty. If you suspect that you will be late, please extend your reservation in bounceshare.com or app to avoid the penalty. We will not be able to extend if there's another confirmed reservation for the period

  • WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

    For Short Rides, you can cancel the booking on the app. 


    For Long Rides, you will have to send an email to reservations@metrobikes.in referring to your booking ID. The refund would be as per the cancellation policy.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THE REFUND, IF ANY?

    The refund will take up to 7 working days after getting an approval for refund and receiving your bank details.

  • How to use Wallet Balance?

    The wallet balance, which is promotional, can be used for paying up to 50% of wallet balance or booking amount which ever is lower with an upper limit Rs. 100 per booking.

  • DO YOU PROVIDE HELMETS?

    Yes, we provide the 1st helmet with the bike and the second can be provided based on availability. Helmets come free with the booking.

  • What do I do in case I have a flat tyre during my ride?

    You will need to fix the puncture or have the tube replaced, if needed, and there will be no refund on such repairs as they  do not fall under the maintenance issue, but are a part of riding conditions.

  • CAN I RIDE THE BIKE IN OTHER STATES?

    If you are planning to cross the state border, Kindly refer to our T&Cs - Point W, Under the section "ASSURANCE BY THE HIRER" for permit and other details or call customer care.
